How do you face circumstances & not blame everyone around you or create some weird idealism?

How do you face circumstances & not blame everyone around you or create some weird idealism? We often create a theology that justifies our circumstances rather than getting intimate with God. When something isn’t working, we don’t need to get counseling—just look in the Word of God to find out for ourselves.

When we were born again, we experienced the love of God & believed He was good. But, over time, we get infected with religion; it’s so subtle that we can’t figure out how it happened. Well-meaning Christians explain that our current set of circumstances is how God teaches us important life lessons. This irresponsible philosophy alleviates our personal responsibility for our choices. Why not just try again? Why not acknowledge that with God all things are possible? Why not commit to trusting God’s wisdom?

Once you accept that God has given you everything that pertains to life & godliness through Jesus, with His Spirit & life inside you, it comes down to this: Will you choose to look at what God’s Word says & believe His report over your excuses?
