What actually happened to Jesus in His death, in the grave, and in the resurrection is the focal point of the New Covenant and all it’s benefits.Paul answered that question in 1 Corinthians 2:1-5, “I.., did not come with excellence of speech or of wisdom declaring to you the testimony of God. For I determined not to know anything among you except Jesus Christ and Him crucified. And my speech and my preaching were not with persuasive words of human wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power, that your faith should not be in the wisdom of men but in the power of God.” The early church knew the power of God was manifested when people placed their faith in what happened at the cross… the death, burial and the resurrection.

Of all the miraculous things God has done this is the event that manifests the power of God like none other. This should be the focus of all our faith; it is the place where every promise of God finds its basis for every believer. It is the resurrection that gives us the gift of righteousness, and victory over the devil, sin, sickness and disease. Yet, we tend to place our faith in every aspect of Jesus’ life and ministry except this! What actually happened to Jesus in His death, in the grave, and in the resurrection is the focal point of the New Covenant and all its benefits. JOIN ME this week as we take one more look at Jesus and what He has provided for us when He conquered sin and death! It will transform your faith!
