“the Wisdom from God always leads us along a path that is not harmful to others, it doesn’t violate God’s Word, but more than anything else, it leads us down a path that always leaves us connected to God.”The Bible doesn’t make knowledge a bad thing. The Bible does identify knowledge without wisdom to be destructive. The tree that caused all the trouble was not the tree of knowledge; it was the knowledge of good and evil. Man wanted the capacity to determine good and evil independent of God’s input.

The problem is wisdom comes from God. There is a natural wisdom based on shrewdness and other negative motivators. James 3:15-18 contrasts the wisdom from above and the wisdom that is earthly, sensual and demonic. This wisdom is motivated by selfish ambition; it departs from the truth of God’s Word. It is a wisdom that seeks to win over others at all cost.

But the wisdom from God always leads us along a path that is not harmful to others, it doesn’t violate God’s Word, but more than anything else, it leads us down a path that always leaves us connected to God.
