No matter if it’s love, righteousness or any other truth, if it is being experienced in our heart it shows up in the fruit of our lives.Sadly, it doesn’t just seem that way; in many cases it IS that way! Because we have shaped an unscriptural concept, we don’t see Him as a feeling, relational being; therefore, we attempt to relate to Him through our doctrines rather than the same way we would relate to any individual who loved and provided for us! This becomes painfully apparent in people who quote Scriptures about love but don’t find themselves loving God and loving people!

Knowing the doctrine of God’s love does nothing to change or improve our quality of life unless that doctrine leads us to an intimate relationship where we actually experience, i.e. feel that love. When that love is experienced it has a profound effect in every dimension of our life. For example, we begin loving (expressing value and regard) for the well-being of others. Likewise, we have value and regard (love) for our connection to God. It becomes precious to us, something we handle with care!

No matter if it’s love, righteousness or any other truth, if it is being experienced in our heart it shows up in the fruit of our lives. Everything else is just talk!
