Every aspect of Jesus’ life, death, and resurrection is important. But the heart of the gospel is not the fact that Jesus lived. The heart of the gospel is that He became our sin, died the death we should have died, and then conquered our sin to rise again, after which He received an inheritance from God which He shares with those who believe!
