Jesus clung to God’s wonderful view and opinion of Him just as we should trust and cling to God’s wonderful view and opinion of us.When read in context we realize the Father had revealed Himself to Jesus. In other words, Jesus saw Him as He really was. Jesus passed that glory on to us by living and teaching exactly what God had revealed to Him. Then He showed us the ultimate glory of God when He became our sin, took our punishment and rose again through His own faith in the glory of God! Jesus clung to God’s wonderful view and opinion of Him just as we should trust and cling to God’s wonderful view and opinion of us. It is that truth, that glory that raises us up into newness of life. (Romans 6:4).

In His life He gave the true and only accurate revelation of God; therefore, we have the glory of God. In His resurrection He gave us the resurrection power, i.e. the grace to live in His revelation of God!
