This is one of the easiest problems in the world to solve. Why is it so easy? It’s easy because this isn’t something you do by changing someone else; this is something that happens by the changes that occur in you!
The best way to get anyone in a relationship to do anything is to model it. In other words, be to them what you want them to be to you. Never demand or insist that your spouse does anything. Model what you want by the way you treat them and then inspire them by making the relationship so incredible they want to protect it. That’s exactly what God did for us through Jesus. In Ephesians Paul explains that we are to relate to one another the same way God related to us.
