You can put an end to the pain of the past and how that pain affects you!The word “offense” in the original language means “to cause to stumble.” So an offense is when we are treated in a way that causes us to stumble emotionally, morally or in any area of life. Keep in mind, however, just because we take “offense” at what someone does, that doesn’t always mean the other person created the offense.

The Bible refers to people who sin against us. This would be treatment that causes us to feel less than we are, unqualified, or unworthy. It also refers to those who trespass against us. This could be a reference to crossing boundaries and it could mean those who violate the Word of God in the way they relate to us.
