God never changes; He has value for us even when we don’t have value for ourselves. However, when we are unfaithful to Him, it’s us who change. It is like when a person cheats on their spouse, even though the spouse may never know, something between them changes. God is seeking a relationship where both parties are true and faithful, giving and receiving love! Even though our unfaithfulness can destroy the relationship it can never destroy God’s love; therefore, when we desire to draw near to Him and enter into the relationship, He is always loving, forgiving, and accepting.
