Have you found the secret place? Jesus said when we go into prayer we should pray to our Father in secret. The word “secret” can refer to two things: a secret place and something that is not known. Both of these words have incredible scriptural relevance. We create a secret place in our heart where we meet with God, like a special place where lovers meet. In that secret place, hidden from the eyes and ears of the world, they share their secrets. In Matthew 10:26 Jesus tells us there is nothing hidden that will not be revealed. When we connect to God in that secret place, He provides answers and solutions that can’t be perceived with the intellectual mind.
