In my new series Charting a New Course we have discovered some of the most powerful tools required for setting a new course and realizing new outcomes for your life. We learned:

1. Attitude is everything.

2. The secret of God’s immutable laws that always work.

3. The single most important factor for reaching new goals.

4. How to find the courage to make new choices.

5. The truth about always finding the answers you need through the law of attraction and perception.

6. How to stand firm by seeing the invisible.

However, all of these incredible insights and tools are useless if we do not take the ultimate step and find a favorable beginning for every endeavor. Our ultimate weakness lies in our failure to launch. But with what you have learned in this series, this will no longer be a problem for you. You have become a dream maker!

The misconceptions that paralyze us in the pursuit of our dreams is the idea that God leads by circumstances. Ecclesiastes 11:4 says it like this, He who ob-serves the wind will not sow, and he who regards the clouds will not reap. In other words, the person who looks to circumstances will always have a reason not to act.

There are always reasons to wait. I am certainly not saying that circumstances aren’t factors, but they are not the voice of God! Circumstances are always the least reliable indicators. God’s timing is now! God’s time is always now. Today is the day of sozo: saved, healed, delivered, blessed, prospered, protected, and made whole. God always wants the best for us now. So the real question is not, “Is God ready?” It’s, “Am I ready?”

Remember, it is not the direction of the wind but the setting of the sail that will determine your destination. Tony Robbins, a well-known motivational speaker, says, “More than anything else, I believe it is our decisions, not the conditions of our lives, that determine our destiny.” More millionaires are made in hard times than any other time.
