success-620300_640There is always benefit to emulating successful people. Paul said, “Imitate me just as I imitate Christ (1 Cor. 11:1). The writer of Hebrews says, “…imitate those who through faith and patience inherit the promises” (Heb. 6:12). There can be great value in copying others.

However, if we imitate behavior apart from beliefs we will never have the same outcome. So it is never enough to only copy the behavior of successful people, including Jesus. We must believe what they believe if we desire the same outcome.

When our actions emerge from beliefs we will not waver in the face of challenges and hardships. These beliefs will also open the eyes of our heart to perceive and understand the practical “walking out” of the journey. When we do not understand why something is done we will not truly understand when to take appropriate actions.

The underlying belief affecting our capacity to discover and embrace the beliefs of successful people starts with the decision to have success. People who live exceptional lives realize it is our responsibility to choose the life we desire. Those who know and believe God’s Word realize having God’s life and blessings starts with a decision.

Since it is written plainly in God’s Word, why would we find reasons to avoid making this core decision? This week in CyberChurch I will share about The Matrix of Life determining the quality of life you are willing to choose. I’ll help you understand the role self-worth plays in our willingness to make the decisions for the life and blessings of God.

making decisions CDOur doubt is not because we don’t trust God, it is because we don’t trust ourselves. We feel undeserving of the life God promised. We disqualify ourselves because our heart condemns us. By establishing your self-worth through your connection with a loving Father you will establish a Life Matrix that always expects the best.
