When we believe on Him as Lord, as the Bible teaches it, and to the degree we believe in our heart the more we are effortlessly transformed into His likeness.If the Bible is true (and it is) Jesus said, “He that believes on me, the works that I do shall he also do and greater.” We tend to think if we believe hard enough that we can, we will be able to do what He did. But it is actually much larger than that. When we believe on Him as Lord, as the Bible teaches it, and to the degree we believe in our heart the more we are effortlessly transformed into His likeness.

Rather than attempting to believe we can do the works He did and using that as a measure of our faith, maybe we should turn it around. The more I see my life, my ministry to others, my love for unlovable people, my love for God and even my love/value for myself effortlessly emerging, the more I know what I believe about Him is true.
