Impact Ministries
Impact Ministries®
was born out of a vision and passion to reach America. The United
States boasts itself as a great Christian nation with an enormous
number of converts every year. The truth is that very few people in
America are actually committed Christians and very few converts are
being won in this nation. A recent report stated "If all the people in America got up tomorrow and wanted to go to church, there would only be a seating capacity for about 4%." Other research indicates that around 70% of all recorded church growth in America is actually transfer growth.
The church has grown out of touch with the needs of the nation. People
no longer consider the church to be relevant. While pastors "preach to
the choir" the nation is crumbling. We are answering questions that no
one is asking. We are addressing issues that are of no concern. Unlike
Jesus, the church in America is not the "friend of sinners." We have
actually become the enemy of sinners.
While the church
sits around and debates "spiritual issues" our nation races headlong
into moral decline. Instead of being known to the world as a Christian
nation, we are the "smut-peddlers" of the world. Our air waves are
filled with pornography. Our children kill one another. Our political
leaders sell out to the highest bidder and our spiritual leaders have
lost touch with reality.
Impact Ministries was established to reach into this nation and equip those leaders who want to make an IMPACT! Every year we train and develop leaders who are
sick of the game. Everyday more churches and leaders cry out for
reality. There is a new breed of minister who doesn’t want to be a
superstar, they just want to serve God and serve people. They want to
make a difference in their community. Impact Ministries® is
providing the tools, the guidance and the encouragement to this new
breed. Our books, tapes, videos, workbooks and other training materials
are equipping ministers, leaders and churches all across America to
make a real IMPACT on our nation!
As pastors
and ministers are set free from the religious, political game they are
finding a new freedom, power and love. Churches are coming back to
life. Pastors are falling in love with their congregation. Political
strife and power struggles disappear as churches and leaders return to
the ministry of the Lord Jesus. Strife is being replaced with love.
Apathy is being quenched by passion and purpose. Communities are being
touched; entire cities are being stirred.
We believe
the church is losing the nation because it really doesn’t present the
same concepts of God that were presented by the Lord Jesus. Instead of
a loving, caring Father, God is presented as a controlling, judgmental,
angry God. The church is driving more people away from God than any
other source. But all that is changing!
